Wow... It's been a long time. 

Does anyone even remember me? 

I decided to should update this in order to inform people, in case they were worried, as I have been about a couple of bloggers that fell off the face of the planet it seems. 

Unfortunately for me, mine was necessary. My then husband and I had decided to get a divorce. 

Sprung me into probably the worst year of my life. But I've grown into a much better, (at least I think) human being. And I'm happier than I was before, I definitely take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Without getting too much into it, getting a divorce was one of the hardest things I have ever done and it really changed my outlook on everything. Thankfully, Chuck and I remain friends, mainly for the mini's sake, and she is doing very well because of it. 

I had also lost 90 lbs. Finally back into a size 10, super happy with how I looked, even with no makeup and glasses on. I dated, had fun, found out what I liked and didn't like. How much I could stand, and what would drive me crazy. (Did I mention I went crazy for a few weeks too? Nervous breakdown. Oh that was fun.) 

Last year I began dating the love of my life, I've known him half my life, so it wasn't like we'd just met, and it was definitely unexpected, but you know those people whose eyes you avoid because everytime you look into them you think you might end up kissing them? (that could just be me that avoids looking at people who make me feel like that.) Well, one day I just looked, and kept looking, and apparently, he always had those urges too. We're getting married May 31st of next year. :) 

We recently had a cute little son too. Baby goat seems like a good nickname, he looks just like his daddy, who is nicknamed goat. The mini's really in love with him, she loves being a big sister. 

I'm in college right now too, only six more months to go! So, I might start this blog up again, I won't be able to post very frequently, but I figure, I loved it. So I might want to start again.

I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would.

We've done a lot recently....

Gone to the pumpkin patch.



Made pumpkin bread.

Went to Sunflowers Market... bought gummy bears in 12 different flavors.

Went trick or treating.... three different times.... I was tired afterwards.


And made eggnog cheesecake that was delish.


What has everyone else been up to?

Update!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted something! A lot has happened in the past month.

The mini started Kindergarden;

The mini turned 5 and we threw her a party;

Went up to Red Rocks.

And even though I've been reading blogs I haven't been inspired to write or anything... my BFF left two weeks ago and I think it made me very sad, I'm still sad because I miss her a lot, but I'm a little better... and getting back into the swing of things again.

I made this yesterday!!

The letters not the mirror, but the mirror and plate now look a little less lonely.

I bought large letters at Joanns for 3.99 (it was a dollar off) and painted them robin's egg blue, then used a stiff brush and patted some black on it, rubbing off excess with a baby wipe (I swear I would die without these) when needed.

Right now I am working on my bedroom, I just bought some beautiful bedding on clearance at Target, two lamps from HomeGoods that are absolutely chic, and have everything to make the headboard!

And now, an update, our house search is at a stop for awhile... we've decided to stay in our apartment for just a little longer so we can work on saving more money... once we looked at what we could afford it seemed better for us to save a little more so we could afford a bit more house.

So for now we are going to continue making our apartment our home. :) More projects to be done soon!

Almost 10 projects in 10 days

1. Clean out master bedroom closet. Done :) It's messy once again, but it was done. LOL



2. Stain and fix up M.Bedroom dresser Half-done, I got the drawers all done up and then we've had rainy weather....


3. Organise the office. Done!!






4. Pinic table; build and paint. Half-done, again the weather ruined this...





5. Sew the mini's floor cushions. Done!! I'll make a post all about it later, but here's one pic!

6. Paint the folding chairs. Done!! Pictures will be posted once I finish the picnic table because I want to do the overall effect on my patio.

7. Organise the mini's closet. Done.... it only lastest for an hour though...

8. Finish our bathroom (aka hang artwork and find holders for my makeup). Done, I found holders, but didn't hang artwork seeing as we're looking at houses!!

9. Figure out what to do about my entryway shoe problem. Oye. Fail. Massive fail.

10. Get photos printed out. Done :)

Overall, not too bad, I am a little disappointed in myself and I intended on getting more pictures... but the househunting is driving me crazy. LOL
